About Us
Owners of Chelsea Farms, Shina Wysocki and Kyle Lentz, are 2nd generation shellfish farmers. They carry on their parents mission of sustainable shellfish farming, while creating and establishing a rapport in the community with the opening of Chelsea Farms Oyster Bar. The foundation that Chelsea Farms sits on was built by John and Linda (their parents), as passionate individuals with ultimate dedication towards shellfish farming; Shina and Kyle carry on that legacy.
Theo Walker, our farm manager, has worked for Chelsea Farms since 2011. He oversees all aspects of the farm. Theo has a great focus on husbandry, he is always watching the shellfish and bay for changes. When he is not at the farm, he is spending time with his wife Juliet and four kids.

THEO WALKER
Jonathan Altamirano started at Chelsea Farms in 2015. We are thankful he is our crew supervisor. Jonathan ensures that the crew has clear directions, the tools they need for the job and ensures job safety. We count on Jonathan to manage the workload of the crew with the needs of the farm.

Sales Manager for Clams and Oysters | FLUPSY Manager
James Dickson plays a vital role in the lifecycle of our oysters. As the Sales and FLUPSY (Floating Upweller System) Manager, James is typically the first and last person to handle any seed. He carefully picks up seed from the hatcheries and nurtures smaller oysters in the FLUPSY until they are ready to be planted at our farm sites. Once grown, James oversees their journey off the farm, connecting them with our customers through wholesale sales.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, James and his wife, Kelsey, joyfully welcomed their first child in 2023.
